Neuropathy
Neuropathy, or Peripheral Neuropathy, is a general term used to describe a variety of conditions that affect the Peripheral Nervous System (PNS). The PNS is all nerves in the body except the spinal cord and brainstem. The consequences of Neuropathy are most often seen in the arms, legs, hands, and feet. Neuropathy may be acute, characterized by a sudden onset or rapid progression of symptoms, or chronic, symptoms begin subtly and progress slowly.
